DAY 1 US/ SAN SALVADOR
Departure from the U.S. to El Salvador International Airport, where you will be met by our representative. Transfer to the Deluxe Hotel Real InterContinental or Sheraton or Superior Tourist Comfort Inn San Salvador

DAY 2 PYRAMIDS OF TAZUMAL/ CASA BLANCA/INDIGO DYING & JADE EXPERIENCE CHALCHUAPA
Today visit two archeological sites that are part of the same complex; Casa Blanca, a set of pyramids recently discovered and El Tazumal, which is the biggest pyramid in the country. You will have the opportunity to participate in an indigo “hands on “ workshop, the dying process of a typical cloth and a JADE STONE the Mayan Gold which you will be able to take home as a “personal made” souvenir. In the colonial city of Chalchuapa we will see the oldest church in El Salvador, Santiago Apostol, Overnight at Santa Leticia Mountain Hotel or similar. Meals (B/L)

DAY 3 COFFEE TOUR/CONCEPCION DE ATACO
In the morning drive to El Carmen Estate Coffee Farm in the town of Ataco. Own the 4th generation of the Alfaro family, with more than 100 years of coffee culture tradition. The day starts on the family’s 19th century home followed by a walk through the coffee fields and traditional coffee processing mill ending with a taste of the best gourmet coffee you’ve ever had. Take a pound of this great coffee with you, courtesy of Sunny Land Tours. In the town of Concepcion de Ataco; a unique town with its beautiful church and colorful houses, you will experience the art of carving wood saints and hammocks woven with traditional methods.. DAY 4 CERRO VERDE NATIONAL PARK AND PYRAMIDS OF SAN ANDRES
After breakfast we drive to Cerro Verde Volcano National Park a dormant volcano now covered by a thick misty forest of impressive beauty. Walk down the trail “Window to Nature” to discover the wonders of this impressive place. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Izalco and Ilamatepec, Volcanoes and Coatepeque Lake. After lunch, we will continue our journey to the archeological site of the Pyramids San Andres, Continue to Suchitoto. Overnight at La Posada de Suchitlan Hotel or similar. Meals (B/L)

DAY 5 SUCHITOTO AND LAKE SUCHITLAN

Visit the beautiful colonial city of Suchitoto settled between the Guazapa volcano and the magnificent Lake of Suchitlan. Drive to Puerto San Juan at Lake Suchitlan, where we will board a boat to tour “Bird Island”, a real natural paradise, home to thousands of birds. Return to Puerto San Juan for local city tour of Suchitoto, with a splendid colonial architecture, the mountains and its antique stone roads. Overnight , at La Posada de Suchitlan hotel or similar. DAY 6 SUCHITOTO
Morning on your own to enjoy the beauty of this colonial town. Stroll around, its theater, church, plazas and admire its architecture. Afternoon, transfer to your selected hotel in San Salvador. Meals (B)

DAY 7 LA PALMA “CITY OF ARTISANS”
Today in the morning depart to the city of La Palma, world famous the art tradition. The crafts are painted on wood and Copinol seeds with a singular artistic expression and beautiful colors. We will visit local craftsman’s workshops to learn about their art and participate in elaboration of these beautiful pieces and take yours home. Our journey continues to the town of San Ignacio, located at the base of Pital Mountain, the highest mountain of El Salvador. Return to your selected hotel in San Salvador. Meals ( B/L)

DAY 8 EL SALVADOR/ U.S.
Transfer to the International Airport for your return flight to the U.S. Meals (B)
